How to find a full list of Shopify stores filtered by keywords

Whether you’re doing market research, scouting potential customers, or just oddly curious, there is a simple hack to find every Shopify store on the internet.

To get a full list of Shopify stores, simply type into Google:

site:*.myshopify.com

Include keywords

If you’d like to search for all Shopify stores that contain certain keywords, say dogs, you can add them like this:

site:*.myshopify.com dog

Exclude keywords

If you’d like to exclude certain keywords, say cats, you can exclude them using the minus sign:

site:*.myshopify.com -cats

Include and exclude

If you’d like to both add keywords and exclude keywords, you can do that too.

The following searches shopify stores that contain the keyword “animals”, but excludes all stores that contain the word “cats”.

site:*.myshopify.com animals -cats
